Makan announces its call for applications for the 4th edition of its summer residency which is open to young artists and last year university students of visual arts, creative writing, music, or architecture who would like to produce an experimental project in the framework of a one-month residency at Makan. The residency aims to bring together 4 -5 persons to work in Makan on individual or collaborative ideas that experiment with different media and presentations and the exhibition in alternative and public spaces.

The residency includes the use of the studio spaces, equipment and facilities at Makan, and provides a fee for materials for production.

To apply please send the following:
Personal information: Name, Age, and what/where you studied.
4-6 images of pervious projects and a short description of the works (including date, media, duration, size).
A description of the project you would like to realize during the residency.

Group application for more than one person are welcome, please indicate that in the application and provide the requested information for each individual. This application is open to artists living in Jordan and Alexandria (Egypt) only.
