Shatana as a location is overwhelming! I found it too politically/socially/ religiously/ecologically/historically loaded, to truly engage with it in the short duration of the workshop. Instead of Shatana, I refocused my attention on to my presence here. My work is a take on myself and on my attempt to make art in Shatana.
